On behalf of a European leasing company specialised in dry lease solutions to scheduled airline operators SAC have recently completed the transitioning of the three ATR 72 passenger aircraft in Malaysia.
The project included the acceptance of the aircraft from the seller, the supervision of the maintenance and modification work, the re-registration as well as the delivery to the airline client.
Whereas SAC’s Asian team was responsible for the supervision of the physical work on the aircraft SWICAMO (SAC’s EASA/Swiss FOCA approved CAMO+) carried the continuing airworthiness management responsibilities.
SWICAMO, a Swiss Aviation Consulting company, has recently received approval to add the Airbus A330 Series to their CAMO capability list by the Swiss Civil Aviation Authority (FOCA). This approval includes the privilege to conduct ARC Reviews and issue ARC Recommendations.

This month Tianyi Ding celebrated her 10-Year Anniversary with Swiss Aviation Consulting. Tianyi joined in July 2012 when SAC was looking for new talents to start its CAMO business in the United Arab Emirates. Today Tianyi is SAC’s senior asset manager and a certified asset inspector. Tianyi is committed to deliver the best possible service to our clients both in report quality and timeliness.
This month Rocco Sero celebrated his 10-Year Anniversary with Swiss Aviation Consulting. Rocco joined the team to enhance the rotary wing expertise of the company in 2012. Today he is the head of SAC’s technical / CAMO team. His calm and well considered way of working combined with his expertise in CAM and related technical matters make him one of SAC’s biggest assets.
SAC was mandated to conduct a registration change of a Gulfstream G450 based in Central Asia. This included the scheduling of all the tasks required for the registration change such as transponder, ELT and life raft beacon recoding, the change of markings and preparing the documentation for the aviation authority.
SWICAMO GmbH, the SAC subsidiary for delivering Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) services, has successfully transitioned from EASA Part-M to Part-CAMO (Reference CH.CAMO.7010).
You will find them on almost every airport, especially in the last 2 years, aircraft that are stored, preserved, or in some cases abandoned without any sort of preservation.
Many of these aircraft are available for sale for a bargain but additional due diligence is required to determine the effort to recover these assets.
SAC is delighted to announce that we have added an in-house ASA Accredited Senior Aircraft Appraiser (American Society of Appraisers).
ASA is the top-notch industry standard. Obtaining the Senior Aircraft Appraiser requires 5 or more years of experience as an appraiser and further academic requirements and appraisal training courses are required.
